Castello di Gargonza
We are having our wedding at the fortified village of the Castle of Gargonza, a Thirteen century medieval hamlet.
It is surrounded by more than 600 hectares of forest, olive groves and vineyards and overlooks the Val di Chiana.

Getting In
We recommend flying into Florence Airport, Peretola - the hamlet is about an hour drive from the airport
Getting to Castello di Gargonza
There a lots of ways to get to the hamlet, the easiest being a rental car from the Florence airport. We recommend coordinating with friends and family to car pool, and will also set up a section on the website with confirms guests who plan on driving, and have space for additional guests in their cars. You can also take a Regional or Frecciarossa trains from Arezzo. From there it is possible to take a taxi (cost around € 50) or ask the reception to arrange a transfer.

Please RSVP by February 1st, so we can have an accurate headcount, and have the potential to reserve the entire hamlet. :)

What will the weather be like?
Spring is full on come May. Though the weather can be a little temperamental, it is more consistent with fewer bouts of rain, more hours of sunshine, and daily temperatures ranging between 54°F to 73°F (12-23°C) with the occasional mercury spike of 86°F (30°C).
What should I wear?

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony and welcome dinner are currently scheduled for outdoors, but our wedding reception will be inside the castle :)
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them following the event!

Are kids welcome?
Kids are welcome to the weekend! We just ask that Saturday, the wedding party night, they go to bed around 10PM as we continue to celebrate.
